Magic Translator Crack Code
Congratulations human. If you have cracked this code then you are more intelligent than most of your species. This is a message from the fairy People. We are seeking out our allies among the Mud Men. Though most humans are dull-witted creatures there are exceptions.
Magic Translator Crack Code
Cryptographic researchers have finally cracked a 51-year-old code left by the Zodiac, a serial killer who terrorized Northern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Much of the work of cracking the code was done in Mathematica, the statistics package from Wolfram.
The Voynich Manuscript, a small unassuming book stored in a Yale University vault, is one of the most mysterious books in the world. The precious document containing elegant writing and strange drawings is believed to have been written six centuries ago in an unknown or coded language that has never been cracked.
Ladislas Farago's 1971 best-seller The Game of the Foxes gave an early garbled version of the myth of the purloined Enigma. According to Farago, it was thanks to a "Polish-Swedish ring [that] the British obtained a working model of the 'Enigma' machine, which the Germans used to encipher their top-secret messages."[98] "It was to pick up one of these machines that Commander Denniston went clandestinely to a secluded Polish castle [!] on the eve of the war. Dilly Knox later solved its keying, exposing all Abwehr signals encoded by this system."[99] "In 1941 [t]he brilliant cryptologist Dillwyn Knox, working at the Government Code & Cypher School at the Bletchley centre of British code-cracking, solved the keying of the Abwehr's Enigma machine."[100]
As part of the Linguist feat, you can write ciphers which are particularly difficult to crack, though the feat indicates that you can use either an Int check or magic to decipher it. For mid-level characters, the DC for the Int check can easily be well over 20, so magic might be a preferable route.
The only logical method would be magic or knowledge domain clerics, but as Slagmoth points out I would caution against any spell that can decode messages as this will ruin almost all intrique. At the very least should require some divination as into the writer and/or recipient of the message.
The reason why I would discourage a single spell covering this is mainly becauselong messages can literally have an endless realm possibile of simultaneous meanings that will make sense to someone and each person may come to a different conclusion about the meaning of an encoded message. It does not make sense and even in the realm of magic its hard to extrapolate a spell that would know which one of these thousands of possible meanings was the intended encoding method used by the writer and recipient, especially Comprehend Languages.
They got more than they bargained for. The slab was the Rosetta Stone, and the letters and symbols carefully chiseled into its dark face would shed light on the glory of ancient Egyptian civilisation. But first, scholars would have to crack its code.

This 20-page codex dates back around 1,300 years and is written in Coptic. It contains a variety of magical spells and formulas, including love spells, spells for curing black jaundice and instructions on how to perform an exorcism.
Treason! If you've got the hang of coding messages by shifting the alphabet forward, then you might have realised that it is actually pretty simple to crack this type of code. It can easily be done just by trial and error. An enemy code breaker would only have to try out 25 different possible shifts before they were able to read your messages, which means that your messages wouldn't be secret for verylong. So, what about coding messages another way? Instead of writing a letter, we could write a symbol, or draw a picture. Instead of an 'A' we could write *, instead of a 'B' write + etc. For a long time, people thought this type of code would be really hard to crack. It would take the enemy far too long to figure out what letter of the alphabet each symbol stood for just by trying all the possiblecombinations of letters and symbols. There are 400 million billion billion possible combinations! This type of code was used by Mary Queen of Scots when she was plotting against Elizabeth the First. Mary wanted to kill Elizabeth so that she herself could become Queen of England and was sending coded messages of this sort to her co-conspirator Anthony Babington. Unfortunately for Mary, there is a very simple way of cracking this code that doesn't involve trial and error, but which doesinvolve, surprise, surprise, maths.
Ever since the human race developed language, we've used codes and ciphers to obscure our messages. The Greeks and Egyptians used codes to transfer private communications, forming the foundation of modern code breaking. Cryptanalysis is the study of codes and how to break them. It's a world of secrecy and subterfuge, and it can be a whole lot of fun. If you want to crack codes, you can learn to recognize the most common codes and how to get started teasing out their secrets. See Step 1 for more information.
It was not until the nineteenth century that Egyptian hieroglyphs were deciphered. Several people had been trying to crack the code when the brilliant young Frenchman, Jean-François Champollion discovered the secret to this ancient writing. A decree issued at Memphis, Egypt, on March 27, 196 B.C. was inscribed on the Rosetta Stone in three scripts: hieroglyphics, demotic and Greek. After Thomas Young deciphered the demotic text, Champollion used the information to break the code of the hieroglyphic text in 1822. In 1828, he published the famous "Précis" that marked the first real breakthrough in reading hieroglyphs.
Every so often, you're going to come across a Decoder Box in Onimusha: Warlords which asks you to come up with a phrase that answers the question upon the chest itself. Here's how to crack the code on every one of them, and in turn unlock the 'Decrypter, Table For One' Bronze Trophy.
The Japanese, who were skilled code breakers, remained baffled by the Navajo language. The Japanese chief of intelligence, Lieutenant General Seizo Arisue, said that while they were able to decipher the codes used by the U.S. Army and Army Air Corps, they never cracked the code used by the Marines. The Navajo code talkers even stymied a Navajo soldier taken prisoner at Bataan. (About 20 Navajos served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines.) The Navajo soldier, forced to listen to the jumbled words of talker transmissions, said to a code talker after the war, "I never figured out what you guys who got me into all that trouble were saying."
